PRESENTATION: Proposed strategies for development of MEMS technology for aerospace applications in Canada - Discussion
The workshop participant's discussion will cover the proposed strategies and plan of action for research, development and enhancement of MEMS technology in Canada
The topics will include:
- Potential Canadian strategies "MEMS for aerospace applications in Canada" - Proposals and Priority areas for the industries, universities and research laboratories.
- Outline of the proposed Canada - Europe forum to be held at Montreal, Quebec in fall 2001,
- Potential framework for future collaboration with Europeans and establishment of North-American Chapter of the Aerospace User-Supplier Club with DARPA and NEXS.
- Special issue of the mst news on Canada-Europe Collaboration on MEMS for aerospace applications
- Canadian nominee
to the EU - NEXUS roadmap activities
Development of Canadian roadmap for MEMS technology for aerospace applications In collaboration with the Aerospace Corp. of California two technical papers "Microengineering Space Systems" 43 pages and Micropropulsion Systems for Aircraft and Spacecraft, 42 pages have been prepared which will be provided as background for the workshop. Additionally, an overview of the literature has been compiled for further references.
