PRESENTATION:
MEMS Technology in Canada
In Canada, researchers
have been active in the area of MEMS technology for nearly two decades,
during which time significant research across diverse applications has
been conducted. The existence of an active university community, an
established development and growing manufacturing base within industry,
and an expanding national research infrastructure have made this possible.
Several highlights will be presented of achievements, work in progress,
and new direction and in particular experiences at the Canadian Microelectronics
Corporation in working with Canadian universities and companies.
